I live and work as a freelance technologist in Milan, Italy. I develop web applications and web sites in CFML. I am lead programmer in the cfeventmanager OS project and I am developing the RailoAjax library to add support for ajax tags also in Railo cfml engine. I am an advanced JavaScript developer. I am knowledgeable in JQuery, and I have developed plugins for AJAX enhancement. Jquery is also used as utility class in the RailoAjax library that I am developing. As a js developer, I have an optimal knowledge of HTML/XHTML and CSS for presentations. I manage the two most used database platforms: MySQL and MS SQL. My SQL scripting skills are considered good, although I prefer to delegate data management to an ORM data layer. For this purpose, I use the Coldfusion framework 'Transfer' for day by day. For less data intensive applications I prefer to use a SQL writer called dataMgr. I have also developed Coldfusion frameworks such as ColdBox and ModelGlue. I am proficient in IIS and Apache setup, management, and optimisation. My future goals are to delve deeper into Adobe Flex and Air. I believe Adobe Flex/Air as the next big thing in web application development. Most recently I have begun to experiment with Linux, and have developed a Coldfusion application based on CentOs/Railo/Apache and Mysql. I am available for consulting, developing a new applications, and/or working on your existing ones.
